We initially enrolled our 7-yr-old daughter at Master Juan’s Karate with the intention of it being a summer activity.  We would have never predicted that a year and a half later, she would earn National Championship titles in multiple events.

Contrary to what many may think, karate is not driven to encourage violence.   The program at Master Juan’s requires the students to exhibit discipline, promotes personal health, and builds confidence as the students earn belt level promotions.  With the support system & role models our daughter has found at Master Juan’s, she has shown determination and confidence that we had not seen in her before.
As parents, we will never be able to express enough gratitude to everyone at Master Juan’s Karate for finding our child’s passion and teaching her the value of hard work.  -Amber Hood

My Son Riley has been a student of Master Juan’s Karate Academy since August 2009 when he was 4 years old.  Since he has been in training he has achieved the rank of Blue Belt and has a goal of being a Junior Black Belt by the time he is 10 years old.  After over three years of training my son still gets excited to go to class at Master Juan’s.  Master Juan’s is active in the Martial arts community and regularly participates in and sponsors tournaments.  Tournaments are one of my Son’s favorite part of being at Master Juan’s.  The Sensei’s who train at Master Juan’s, many of whom began their training with Master Juan, are the best of the best.  I have never worried about the safety of my Son while he is at Master Juan’s.  Master Juan and his staff of Sensei’s are like family.  Through training at Master Juan’s, my Son has become a more “coachable” player in his other sports including baseball and basketball.  Riley has been able to apply the skills he has learned in Karate to school work and other sports.  He has learned that through hard work he can achieve anything he puts in mind to.  Thank you Master Juan for what you have helped my Son accomplish! -Matt Courtney
